Video 1:  Welcome! Where Do I Start & What Do I Need?

 

Where do I start and what do I need? Fast Track Your Way to Pilates Superwoman. This course will literally help you fly in other fitness classes and move in a way you didn't think possible.

Often, we get so bogged down in the theory that we struggle to feel the connection to our bodies. This short video will break down the 6 principles underlying the Pilates method, making them accessible and relatable.

Do you ever pay attention to how you breathe?  Do you know that syncing movement with breath helps calm the nervous system and even relieve stress and anxiety? Practice along with me and see how you feel afterwards.  You’re doing amazingly well.  Just keep going.  You’ll get there and eventually everything will slot into place.

 

Video 3: Transverse Abdominus – The Game Changer

 

The Game Changer! So often in fitness classes, we overtrain the rectus abdominus (our 6 pack) and never reach those deeper core muscles which stabilise the spine and greatly help with mobility and posture.

Have you ever tried to do a sit up and struggled to keep your neck up?  Or does your neck sometimes feel more worked out than your abdominals?  Follow along with this video to correct the common mistake most of us are making.

Do you ever wake up feeling achy, sluggish or just stiff in your joints?  Do you tend to sit a lot during the day?  Pilates amongst so many other benefits encourages spinal articulation and mobility.

Full Body Strength.  Here’s where we put it ALL together.  This is the culmination of the previous videos and your path to graduating from a Pilates Beginner to an Improver!!!

You made it to the end of the course!  Congratulations!  You are now officially no longer a beginner, but an IMPROVER! I’m so very very proud of you and hope the content resonated and that you were able to connect to your breath and find your flow.

 

So, what next?!!!

 

You are now free to attend any Pilates Open Level, Beginners or Improvers class.  If you feel you need a little more practice at beginner level, take it slowly but if you felt that you were able to progress through the series smoothly, you are welcome to join an Improvers class and progress from there.  I run Improvers and Open Level Pilates classes myself so get in touch if you’d like to join us outdoors OR online.
